Will you advocate for more arts education in Oklahoma schools?

Tomorrow night (6 p.m., November 3), City Arts Center on the Oklahoma Fairgrounds, will host a FREE viewing of OT: Our Town, a documentary film which explores the journey to the first theatrical production at a Compton High School in 20 years.

Twenty years, people.

After the film, an open discussion concerning the importance of Arts in Education will be led by a guest panel of speakers including; Stephanie Crossno – Oklahoma A+ Fellow and Director of Casady School Theatre, Jennifer James – Director of Oklahomans for the Arts, Inc. and Christina Pickard – Artist and Regional Coordinator, Oklahoma A+ Schools. Anyone with a stake in arts education as well as the advancement of the creative industries in Oklahoma should come and be a part of this important dialogue.
